The Amman Forum officially commenced in Jordan on Monday, with the participation of delegations from Arab health ministries and multiple relevant international organizations, including the syrian-participation/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Arab League hosts new research solidarity initiative with Syrian participation">syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian delegation that was headed by the Syrian Deputy Health minister Hussien Al_Khatib. The forum focuses on advancing universal health coverage (UHC) by strengthening primary health care systems and fostering regional collaboration to promote sustainable and innovative health financing solutions.
The event was inaugurated by Jordanian Minister of Health Dr. Ibrahim Al‑Bdour.
The high-level forum is organized by the ministry of Health in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Bank, the French Development Agency (AFD), and the Global Fund. Represented by Deputy Health Minister Hussein Al‑Khatib, who heads the Syrian delegation.
