QAMISHLI, syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (North Press) – Three people were seriously injured on Monday after a shell from remnants of the war exploded while they were attempting to dismantle it at a scrap collection center near Darat Izza in the western countryside of Aleppo. On Sunday, nine others were injured to varying degrees when a landmine, also a remnant of past battles, detonated as two civilian vehicles passed through al-Jabin village in northern Hama countryside.

Additionally, the Syria Civil Defense (White Helmets) stated in a post on its official platform that multiple people at the site helped transfer the injured to nearby medical centers, while emergency teams ensured that there were no additional casualties. War remnants and unexploded ordnance continue to pose a severe threat to civilians in north and northwest Syria, particularly in agricultural and industrial areas.
