The channel quoted informed sources as saying that Jordan has categorically rejected the idea of opening a special border crossing with Suwayda. as per the sources, the Jordanian roadmap emphasizes Syria’s territorial integrity and calls for disarming local armed groups, with weapons to be exclusively under state control.

The plan also seeks to guarantee the Druze community’s right to live in peace and security within a unified Syria. The sources added that extensive coordination is underway between Jordan and other Arab countries to implement a solution that maintains Syria’s unity and addresses the concerns of the Druze population.

Jordan has historically played a mediating role in southern Syria, coordinating with Arab partners to stabilize border regions and backing local communities.
