During the visit, Abdul Hanan discussed with the company’s management ways to enable Syria to benefit from their expertise and technology to strengthen its cable manufacturing sector.

The authorities also focused on enhancing both public and private sector growth, promoting national industrial development, and attracting local and foreign investment. Abdul Hanan’s visit occurred on the sidelines of Syria’s participation in the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Riyadh, where representatives from 173 countries gathered to discuss global industrial development.
