The discovery comes after a group of individuals found multiple bodies on Tuesday in the Karm al-Zeitoun neighborhood of Homs. as per a statement released by the ministry on Facebook, the mass graves were uncovered during excavation work in the al-Sittin area by local civilians.
Additionally, the graves are believed to contain the remains of numerous victims. The ministry verified that the relevant authorities had been notified and have begun conducting necessary forensic examinations to assess the details of the graves and determine whether additional remains are present.
