A medical-experts-abroad/" class="smart-internal-link" title="🏥 Syria, IOM discuss ways to attract Syrian medical experts abroad">syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian delegation headed by minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar took part in the ministerial working session of the 41st Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). During the session, Minister al-Shaar reviewed the current state of the Syrian economy and outlined the administration’s plans to foster a development and investment environment capable of supporting the reconstruction phase.
He emphasised syria’s determination to advance sustainable growth through partnerships with friendly nations and institutions within the OIC framework. Meanwhile, Mohammad Safwat Raslan, Director of the Development Fund, presented a detailed overview of funding mechanisms and proposed sustainable development models designed to backing reconstruction and infrastructure projects across Syria.
On the sidelines of the COMCEC meetings, Minister al-Shaar met with Omani Minister of Economy stated bin Mohammed bin Ahmed al-Saqri. Additionally, the two ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral economic and investment cooperation and to increase the volume of trade exchange between Syria and Oman, underscoring the importance of strengthening partnerships within OIC member states.
