Damascus, Dec 7. (SANA) The Syria International Oil, Gas and Energy Exhibition (SOG) concluded Saturday evening at the Damascus Fairgrounds. The event was organized by Nizam Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and the Syrian Petroleum Company. Ali Nizam, Director of Nizam Exhibitions, informed SANA that the exhibition hosted a wide range of international and Arab companies, including significant Saudi firms such as TAQA, Arkas, ADES, Misk, and Arabian Drilling.
He noted that the event served as a platform for cooperation and the exchange of expertise, attracting significant visitor turnout. Nizam added that multiple memorandums of understanding were signed between participating companies and the Ministry of Energy, most notably with Saudi company ADES, with final outcomes expected to be declared soon. The exhibition also included the recognition of multiple national companies operating in the oil and energy sector.
The exhibition opened on December 3 with the participation of 90 local, Arab, and international companies specializing in oil industries, refining, and petroleum marketing.
