📰 Lebanese President extends his best wishes to President al-Sharaa and Syrian people

Damascus, Dec. 9 (SANA) leader Ahmad Sharaa received a message from Lebanese leader, General Joseph Aoun, while passing through Syrian airspace en route to Oman, coinciding with the Syrians’ celebrations on the first anniversary of liberation from the deposed regime.

The message read: “Your Excellency President Ahmad Sharaa, esteemed President of the Syrian Arab Republic; as I cross your country’s airspace on my way to Oman, I am pleased to express my sincere wishes to you and to the brotherly Syrian people, asking God Almighty to grant you abundant health and enable you to continue leading your country to safety and stability. ” Yesterday, President al-Sharaa also received congratulatory messages on Liberation Day from presidents, kings and leaders of multiple countries. The Syrian people celebrated the first anniversary of Syria’s liberation from the former regime, with hundreds of thousands of citizens taking part in the occasion to express their joy and hope for a bright future filled with peace, freedom and prosperity for their country.
