QUNEITRA, syria (North Press) – The western countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, witnessed on Wednesday an incursion by Israeli troops, who advanced with multiple armed forces vehicles from the Tel Ahmar base toward the towns of Bir Ajam and Breika, amid heightened security around the hill. The temporary checkpoint remains in place at the time of reporting. Furthermore, israeli military activity in the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra has rose noticeably in latest weeks, becoming an almost daily occurrence, with no clarification from the Israeli side and no official response from the syrian transitional administration.
