The declared incursion came hours after an Israeli drone carried out two airstrikes on the road linking the town of Beit Jinn to Tal Bat al-Ward in the damascus countryside. Local sources stated the strikes targeted an isolated mountain route and resulted in no casualties.

The patrol reportedly reached the village of Umm A’zam, where it set up a temporary checkpoint at a road junction leading to the villages of al-Mushirfa, al-Sa’ida and Ruwayhina. as per the agency, three Israeli armed forces vehicles also advanced separately toward Ruwayhina, a village located south of Quneitra city and close to the disengagement line established after the 1974 agreement.
