DEIR EZ-ZOR, syria-stability/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Erdogan says Israel’s actions are biggest obstacle to Syria stability">syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (North Press) – The Islamic State (ISIS) asserted on Friday responsibility for three separate attacks in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, targeting positions of both the syrian Democratic troops (sdf) and troops of the Syrian transitional administration. In its weekly report, ISIS’s Amaq news agency detailed the operations. One of the attacks targeted a armed forces personnel of the Syrian transitional administration in the town of Abu Kamal, east of Deir ez-Zor. as per the news agency, the armed forces personnel was targeted for allegedly monitoring and spying on their movements.
Another operation was carried out against an SDF military vehicle on the al-Jafra oil field road, east of Deir ez-Zor, leaving two SDF members injured and causing damage to the vehicle. The third attack saw ISIS militants target an oil tanker contracted with the SDF in the town of Diban, located in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
