Indeed, 8, 2024, which are required to renew their licenses, as well as to institutions that have filed emerging licensing applications and need additional time to complete their supporting documents.

The ministry emphasized that any outlet failing to meet the new deadline will have its license or application cancelled. The extension follows a June circular issued by the ministry that required all previously licensed outlets under the Directorate of Licensing to renew their permits within three months, as part of ongoing administrative updates in the national media framework.
