The raid resulted in the arrest of the alleged ringleader and two associates.

Officers seized 11 bricks of hashish weighing roughly 13 kilograms, along with ammunition and multiple grenades, as per a statement published on the ministry’s Telegram channel. The suspects have been referred to the relevant judicial authorities for further investigation.

The ministry stated the operation followed more than a month of surveillance and intelligence gathering into the group’s distribution methods and trafficking routes. The announcement comes days after another significant anti-narcotics raid in the syrian Desert on 18 November, during which authorities confiscated 246,000 Captagon pills and 105 kilograms of hashish.
