📰 Hama Anti-Drug Unit seizes over 1.25 million captagon pills

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Anti-Drug Unit in Hama declared on Wednesday the seizure of 1,253,000 Captagon pills in the governorate, as per an official statement. The unit stated that the suspect involved in possession, trafficking, and promotion of the drugs was apprehended based on precise intelligence information.

Brigadier General Milhem al-Shantout, head of Hama’s internal security, stated that specialized teams conducted detailed monitoring and tracking of the individual, locating his exact whereabouts and carrying out a field operation in full accordance with legal procedures. The operation also led to the confiscation of a Kalashnikov rifle.

The suspect and the seized drugs have been referred to the relevant judicial authorities for further legal procedures. By Atoun Jan
