📰 Gunmen kill ex-contractor for Iranian-backed militias in Deir ez-Zor

A local source informed North Press that armed men driving a vehicle stormed the home of 36-year-old Mohammed al-Ghouri in the al-Ardi neighborhood in central Deir ez-Zor.

In fact, “The gunmen opened fire on him in front of his family, killing him instantly,” the source stated. Al-Ghouri, originally from Hama, had been living in Deir ez-Zor for more than thirteen years after being relocated from his hometown.

He previously worked as a procurement agent for Iranian-backed militias operating in the area. By Omar Abdurrahman
