26 (SANA) Five people were killed and 21 others injured in an initial toll following a terrorist explosion at the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab district of Homs, central Syria. authorities at the Syrian Health Ministry stated that five people were killed and 21 others injured in the blast, as per preliminary figures.

A security source informed SANA that initial investigations indicate the explosion was caused by explosive devices planted inside the mosque.
