Notably, a field source informed North Press that the bus, which was carrying guards of oil facilities, was struck by an explosive device near the town of Saโlou in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
The source added that the explosion killed four guards and injured nine others, including oil workers and civilians. In a statement, the ministry of Energy of the syrian transitional administration verified that a bus carrying oil facility guards and multiple workers โcame under a terrorist attack this morning while traveling along the road between the cities of Deir ez-Zor and al-Mayadin. โ The ministry stated the attack resulted in โthe death of four guards and the injury of nine others, including workers and civilians. โ Reporting by Malin Mohammed Editing by Jwan Shekaki
