DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Two brothers were killed on Friday when a piece of unexploded ordnance detonated in the city of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria. Moreover, a local source informed North Press that an unidentified explosive device went off, killing the child Aboud al-Suleiman and his brother Bahaa al-Suleiman in the Tab al-Joura neighborhood.
The source added that the neighborhood is heavily contaminated with explosive remnants of war, which have caused numerous casualties and continue to pose a severe threat to residents’ lives. By Ali al-Beki’
